Dar Natury Branch in Warsaw, which aim is to promote actions concerning ecology and protection of natural environment, prepared a unique campaign promoting World Water day in the Bottling Plant of Dar Natury in Częstoniew. The celebrations of this unique day were prepared and conducted by Marlena Szymańska, Production and Quality Manager, in association with the employees of the Bottling Plant of Dar Natury in Częstoniew. The action was organized within the framework of ”Zaangażowani z natury”program, accepted and realized by the company, as well as volunteer work of the employees.
”Our action was directed to the youngest ones” – says Marlena Szymańska, the manager – The Primary School in Częstoniew, School and Education Centre in Jurki and first-form pupils of all primary schools in Grójec participated in it. Children saw the presentation called ”Water – the blue gold”. They learnt from it, above all, what kind of difficulties resulting from the limited access to fresh water or lack of it the inhabitants of the poor countries of the world have to overcome in order to manage personal hygiene. They also realized in what way they can contribute to the wise use of water. Interesting puzzles, contests and games concerning World Water Day were prepared for childern. The participants received small gifts and those, who were the most active won prizes.
Pupils had a chance to visit the bottling plant where they observed how the natural Dar Natury spring water is produced. They also saw how our company cares about high quality of the product and how it carries out its inspection in the company laboratory.
At the end of the meeting in the Bottling Plant of Dar Natury in Częstoniew, every child received an educational leaflet „Save Water” containing many examples for reducing water consumption in a daily life.

We congratulate all authors of the chosen and awarded works. The prize-winners will receive gifts founded by Nestle Waters Direct Polska. We hope that the knowledge gained during World Water Day celebrations will bear fruit in the future and that the time spent with our company's employees was a nice experience.
We would like to thank all children for participating in World Water Day celebrations in such a great number. As a pro-ecology company we realize that water should be managed in a reasonable way. However, to instil good ecological habits, the knowledge concerning it should be conveyed mostly to the youngest. Owing to our employees' great commitment, awareness of the youngest concerning the use of the water resources surely increased. In order to reach possibly the biggest number of people, the action will be continued next year as well.
Our employees' keynote during the World Water Day's organization was that water is the blue gold. We treat water like gold. Let's respect it because WATER IS LIFE!
