Environmental policy
The awareness of the influence of Nestlé Waters Polska SA on natural environment obliges us to constantly improve the performance of the Company and results in taking into consideration environmental protection in all our plans as one of its priorities. Nestlé Waters Polska committed itself to apply responsible practice concerning environmental protection in every scope of its business activities. The activity of our company is conducted according to the sustainable growth principle.
Taking into account the value of natural environment and respecting it Nestlé Waters Polska S.A. concentrates on:
- implementation, maintenance and constant improvement of the Environmental Management System compliant with international norm ISO 14001,
- conducting its activities according to binding provisions of law and other relevant norms as well as corporate rules concerning environmental protection,
- conducting rational waste management in order to minimize their arduousness for the environment and limit the amount of waste products,
- limiting the production and usage of packages and the usage of reusable packages,
- quality improvement of the drained sewage and limiting the number thereof,
- rational usage of resources, materials, fuels, energy and water,
- increasing the ecology awareness of all employees and their involvement in promotion and application of environmental protection rules.
The above policy stipulations are realised through:
- abiding by the binding provisions of law and monitoring changes,
- ensuring financial means for investments in environmental protection,
- choosing and applying environment friendly technologies,
- taking into account tasks aimed at limiting the negative influence on environment in tactical and strategic plans,
- conducting promotion and organisational activities in the whole country, aimed at increasing the amount of return and regeneration of processed oils,
- involvement in education of employees and promotion of activities aimed at environmental protection.
